The roof of the Steigenberger Hotel Herrenhof is buzzing. Not with hotel guests, but with permanent residents. Since last year three bee colonies live on the rooftop of the hotel and 120kg of honey have already been harvested. If you are coming to Vienna, a visit is definitely a must. Their newest addition, Lugeck offers Austrian cuisine in a modern ambience. The next day we left our hotel in Berkeley to officially begin our road trip along the coast. I was able to snatch another delicious chocolate chip cookie from the hotel for the road ;) We made a stop at Trader Joe’s, the first for both of us, to fuel up on semi-healthy snacks (hello cashew caramel cookies!). If you wash down cookies with green juice it is healthy, right?
A few weeks ago, I was in London with my mom for my graduation.
