I had my first pumpin pie last year in New York at my very first Thanksgiving dinner. Since then I wanted to recreate my own. With pumpkin season finally upon us, it seemed perfect to create my own pumpkin pie recipe and giving a beloved classic a little twist: Pumpkin Pie with Marzipan!
The idea for a Spiced Mocha Latte came to me as I was reading that Nespresso is hosting a contest. Last week the ingredient of choice was chocolate, along coffee and milk. Instead of a regular mocha, I wanted to created an aromatic, spice-infused version that will warm you up from the inside. My spices of choice were cardamon, cloves and cinnamon, making my home smell like Christmas! In my opionion it’s never too early for that ;)
This cake is one of my favorites to make (and to eat!). A raspberry cake with a subtle Amaretto flavor that is so light and fluffy that you could easily eat half of it at once. I sure know because I have done it before!
Cookies and milk are an unbeatable combination when it comes to an afternoon (or even a midnight) snack. Dominique Ansel, who also invented the Cronut™, came up with this genius creation that incorporates both into one golden, crispy dessert. The Chocolate Chip Cookie Shot is a chocolate chip cookie shaped like a shot glass. The scrumptious exterior consists of chocolate chip cookie dough, baked to perfection. The insides are brushed with melted chocolate, making the cookie shot sturdy enough to hold delicious organic milk.
Today I have something quite special for you to make: Indulge in homemade, decadent whipped Nutella! You can thank me later ;)
Once you have tried homemade Nutella you won’t go back to the store-bought kind. And it is so easy to make! Once you have your hazelnuts sorted out (=skinned), the food processor or blender will basically do the job for you. My whipped Nutella is also healthier. You won’t need any additional oil and there are no artificial flavors or other nasties added. You can alter the chocolate to your preference and could even try to make a dairy-free version, using dark chocolate.
Ever since being at the Press Day for all i need, I was thinking of different ways to mix it into a drink. Raspberries seemed to harmonize with the açaí and aronia berries in all i need. A squeeze of lime juice and mint leaves always work! And that is how a delicious drink was created in my mind using all natural ingredients!
