Battersea Park

Floral print jeans and leggings are all the rage this spring. I have been loving this trend but hadn’t found a pair that I really liked.  As I was sitting in the library and supposed to write a paper for uni, I found this lovely navy pair from Uniqlo. And it was on sale! It was a done deal that I was placing an order, together with two of their beautiful cotton cashmere jumpers from the men’s collection (why do they always have the nicest colors for men?!).

Anyways, it was such a lovely weekend, as spring has finally come to London, that it was time to finally wear my floral jeans. I have been loving floral prints this spring.

IMG_0821 Battersea Park is beautiful. Parks in London never cease to amaze me. The English definitely know their landscaping.

After walking around the park it was time for a 99 Flake from the ice cream truck. Fun fact: it used to cost only 99p. That was a long time ago, the only thing that has remained since then is the name.

IMG_0829 As we left the park we passed Battersea Power Station. It used to be a coal-fired power station, but now it is unused.

IMG_0831 In the front of it there were a few food stalls, people were sitting in the grass and having picnics.

After wandering around a bit more, we headed home to cook some dinner.

What is your favorite spring trend this season?

Jacket: Burberry. Jeans: Uniqlo. Sweater: Uniqlo. Bag: Prada. Shoes: Converse. Sunglasses: Massimo Dutti
