Yesterday, my boyfriend and I did a little excursion to this nice pub called The Trout, located in Lower Wolvercote. My boyfriend wanted to take me there for some time now, but the last times we were in Oxford we never managed to go. So yesterday we decided to finally walk there. He remembered the walk to be around 20 minutes… well we ended up walking for 1,5 hours, but it was so worth it!
On the way we made friends with a cute little kitty.
I named her Molly. She looked exactly like a stuffed animal I used to have when I was little :)
And we met these cute fellas
The weather was so nice and it was beautiful walking by the water.
And walked through a herd of cows.
When we finally arrived at the Trout we settled at a table on the large terrace looking out onto the Thames enjoying some Pimm’s and crisps. We didn’t have any money left, so we just bought some crisps and enjoyed the view (but the food looked delicious).
Sitting outside on a nice summer day with a glass pitcher of Pimm’s was the perfect addition to our little excursion.
If you ever are in Oxford I would definitely recommend going to the Trout. And if you don’t fancy a long, exhausting walk you can always take the bus or go by car.
