On our way to LA, we made a quick stop in Santa Barbara. We only stayed a few hours but fell in love with this little town. We explored Downtown Santa Barbara, visited Old Mission Santa Barbara and wandered along the beach.
The next day we left our hotel in Berkeley to officially begin our road trip along the coast. I was able to snatch another delicious chocolate chip cookie from the hotel for the road ;) We made a stop at Trader Joe’s, the first for both of us, to fuel up on semi-healthy snacks (hello cashew caramel cookies!). Hello lovely people! I’m back home from my amazing trip and finally ready to share with you my memories in a new travel series.
Before beginning our road trip along the coast of Southern California, we made a stop in Chicago. Neither one of us had been to the “Windy City” before and we were eager to explore it. On Saturday it will be almost a month since I have landed in Chicago. Thankfully I have kept (at least started) a travel diary, writing down all the places we have seen along the way so that now I can relive the moments with you in pictures.
We are back in the States. I’m vacationing with my parents in Florida and we are all so happy to be back.
On our last day in Punta Ala we wanted to take advantage of the beach as much as possible. We just didn’t want to leave!
