Hello 2015! I’m back and wanted to start the new year with a recipe. Even if you are not into new year’s resolutions, you may have over-indulged (like myself) over the holidays. January is the month, most of us are trying to start or get back into a healthy routine. Instead of fighting my sweet cravings I prefer to indulge in a healthy way. For example, with my raw & vegan Brownie Bars.
Today, I wanted to share with you a quick and easy DIY. How you can quickly decorate any cake to make it ‘Easter-appropriate’. You can use any cake you might have on hand. It does not have to be carrot cake. I just thought that this was appropriate because you know Easter – bunny – bunnies eat carrots :D
Easter is all about chocolate, but I have a healthier recipe for you today: Gluten-free chocolate eggs made of natural almond butter.
As you may already know I am a big fan of almond butter. I love almond butter cookies, so I thought why not try to make Easter candy with almond butter.
All of you lovely people suffering from gluten allergy, who have been deprived of the amazing taste of chocolate chip cookies, here is your moment! ;) Apart from tasting simply delicious and being gluten-free these cookies will stay soft for days! Even if you are not on a gluten-free diet, try them you won’t go back to ‘normal’ chocolate chip cookies! ;)
