Beauty Advent Calendars

I’m officially done with my dissertation!! YAY! I still can’t believe that it’s over, but it was such a happy moment when I finally handed it in! Now that I have too much time on my hands I found some very appealing advent calendars that will sweeten the countdown until Christmas.

I know it might be a bit early for some of you to think about Christmas, but I found some nice alternative options to the traditional chocolate advent calendars online and they are sure to be sold out quickly. Now don’t get me wrong, I love chocolate, but a daily beauty treat for 24 days sounds like a girl’s dream!

I have never had a beauty advent calendar but I remember last year when I saw Fleurdeforce opening hers in her daily vlogs and I was fascinated. I had never seen an advent calendar with daily beauty goodies and wanted one as well! By the time I did my research online, they were of course all sold out. So this year I’m therefore super early as I don’t want to miss out again.

1. Ciaté Mini Mani advent calendar offers a different mini nail pot every day! It includes 4 caviar blends and 3 exclusive glitter shades. There are two different versions available, one exclusively at Selfridges and one at  QVC. It retails for £42 at Selfridges and €38 at QVC. I really want to get one of those (even though I probably shouldn’t as I have enough nail polishes to last me a life time!).

2. Benefit’s Coutdown to Love Advent Calendar. The calendar is filled with minis of Benefit’s bestselling products. It is already available in the US from Sephora and Macys and retails at $68. In the UK, it will only be available on November 2nd at selected Benefit and Debenhams stores (so mark that day in your calendars!) for £50.

3. Selfridges‘ exclusive beauty advent calendar must be the ultimate calendar for all beauty junkies. It is filled with miniature treats from luxury beauty brands such as Lancôme, Yves Saint Laurent, Victor & Rolf, etc. It is exclusively available at Selfridges and at £84 it is quite pricy!  It is not yet available but keep your eyes open not to miss it!

4. Boots beauty advent calendar. In my opinion it does not look as fancy and exclusive as the other ones, but it includes not only miniatures but also a few full-sized products. I was naughty and found a list of the products that are included. Just to give you a sneaky preview there are Soap & Glory goodies included (which makes it even more appealing to me!). It is already available for £30 at Boots.

Which one is your favourite? Or have you found another one that I missed?
