I’m back in London, still working on my dissertation. I needed a little fresh air and time to refocus my thoughts, so my boyfriend and I took the bus to Hampstead to visit the Pergola and Hill Garden.
I finished my last exam on Monday and now I have finally time to enjoy the summertime in London. The weather has been so hot that we wanted to get out and enjoy a different side of London.
My boyfriend’s parents were in town for the week and we wanted to show them an area of London that they haven’t seen before, so we took them to Hampstead for some afternoon tea.
With ‘Festival des Métiers’, Hermès is granting its visitors behind the scenes demonstrations of its fine craftsmanship. Visitors can walk around the different stations, interact with the craftsmen and see iconic Hermès objects such as handbags, fine jewelry, watches and silk scarves, while Hermès’ artisans are revealing the unique crafts of the luxury house.
Floral print jeans and leggings are all the rage this spring. I have been loving this trend but hadn’t found a pair that I really liked. As I was sitting in the library and supposed to write a paper for uni, I found this lovely navy pair from Uniqlo. And it was on sale! It was a done deal that I was placing an order, together with two of their beautiful cotton cashmere jumpers from the men’s collection (why do they always have the nicest colors for men?!).
My boyfriend and I made a trip to Hampstead to visit the Freud museum. It was the home of Sigmund Freud and his family when they had to flee from Austria during World War II.
