Have you ever tried marzipan in combination with ground pumpkin seeds? If not you are missing out! Marzipan Pumpkin Seed Rolls are a scrumptious Austrian twist on classic cinnamon rolls. My mom invented these sweet, fluffy rolls, with a perfectly sweet filling made of ground pumpkin seeds and marzipan. Don’t we all have a love/hate relationship with Nutella? We love it when it is sitting in our pantry, waiting for us to be spooned straight from the jar, but hate it when we feel guilty afterwards about having eaten half of it in one sitting. And haven’t we all done that, in the middle of the night, in our PJs?!

Peanut Soba Noodles

You know those nights when you want a home cooked dinner but are too tired/lazy to stand in the kitchen for hours and just want an easy, quick, no-fuss meal? That is exactly what this recipe is! I created it on exactly one of those nights. I wanted comfort food but was tired of the usually tomato pasta that we have way too often. So I chopped up all the vegetables we had in our fridge, whipped up a creamy, spicy peanut sauce, cooked the noodles (they only take 5 minutes), tossed in the veggies and voilà dinner was ready.  Continue Reading…
