It’s been a while since I have done a travel post! Last time I was in London (it has already been a month), my bf and I visited Kew Gardens, which is basically a huge park, home to the world’s largest collection of living plants. Kew Gardens is situated next to the Thames, in the neighborhood of Richmond. You can go there by tube, taking either the District Line or London Overground.
I’m back in London, still working on my dissertation. I needed a little fresh air and time to refocus my thoughts, so my boyfriend and I took the bus to Hampstead to visit the Pergola and Hill Garden.
My boyfriend’s parents were in town for the week and we wanted to show them an area of London that they haven’t seen before, so we took them to Hampstead for some afternoon tea.
Floral print jeans and leggings are all the rage this spring. I have been loving this trend but hadn’t found a pair that I really liked. As I was sitting in the library and supposed to write a paper for uni, I found this lovely navy pair from Uniqlo. And it was on sale! It was a done deal that I was placing an order, together with two of their beautiful cotton cashmere jumpers from the men’s collection (why do they always have the nicest colors for men?!).
My boyfriend and I made a trip to Hampstead to visit the Freud museum. It was the home of Sigmund Freud and his family when they had to flee from Austria during World War II.
