I want to start this post by saying that I’m not the biggest fan of New Years Eve. I can’t remember the last time I got all dressed up for it. I would rather spend it in my pjs on the couch, watching a movie and sipping some bubbly. Continue Reading…
The recent changes in weather make it seem that summer has already said goodbye to us. Thankfully I still have my summer vacation to look forward to (more on that soon).
This year (like every year!) I found some great pieces from Massimo Dutti’s summer sale. They are not your typical summer purchases, like a jumpsuit or a bikini, but I am positive that they will accompany me throughout the Fall season as well.
I want to start a new series on the blog, that may be quite obvious. Bowsessed has been lacking on the bow front lately which I can’t quite understand, because when I look into my room/closet I could easily point at 50 things that have a bow on it! So starting this week I will be posting either a bow-themed item from my personal collection or one from my current wish list every week (which will probably further feed my bowsession).
April has been a month of lots of rain in Austria, staying in and reading (because of aforementioned weather) eating lots of chocolate eggs and bunnies (maybe that is why I needed a new pair of jeans?).
It seems as if spring has left us again in Vienna. And I am left with wearing layers and my trusted Ultra Light Down Jacket from Uniqlo to keep me warm.
Since winter I have been loving gray tones and it seems as if my obsession has followed me right into spring! :) I liked the idea of pairing soft grays with muddy tones.
As my mom always says “A cape is the most impractical piece of clothing I can think of”. I mean it is true it won’t keep you warm when it is really cold, when it is windy (as it is mostly here in London) you will feel the fresh breeze as it is pretty much permeable to air. It is more of that piece that one wears on these rare, very warm autumn days. Nevertheless, my mind is set on getting a cape this year. Sorry, mom!
