Homemade yogurt waffles

Ingredients

  • 1 egg (organic)
  • 200 ml milk (organic)
  • 120 g yogurt (organic)
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (organic) + more for serving
  • 100 g all-purpose flour (organic)
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • coconut oil for greasing
  • fresh raspberries for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your waffle maker and lightly grease it with coconut oil. 

  2. In a bowl, whisk together egg, milk, yogurt and maple syrup.

  3. Add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix until well combined.

  4. Fill a bit of the batter in your preheated waffle maker and bake it for 3 to 5 minutes, until golden brown. Repeat with the rest of the batter. 

  5. Serve with maple syrup and fresh raspberries, or as desired. 

Recipe Notes

Freeze leftover waffles in zip log bags. Simply pop them on the toaster to defrost them.
