I don’t believe in spending a fortune for Valentine’s day. A lot of us are still trying to stuff the hole in our wallet that has been left from Christmas. Am I right? While glossy magazines make us believe that we need jewelry for yet another holiday I think that giving something thoughtful that makes your other half feel special and loved doesn’t have to ruin you financially.
Chocolates and roses are always nice but if you want to go for something different this year or perhaps would like something in addition, here are a few ideas, all under € 15 so that you won’t have to break your piggy bank ;)
TWO. Every girl needs a cute pocket mirror for her handbag, preferably from Marc Jacobs and in the shape of a heart. $7
THREE. It is well known that the way to the heart is through the stomach. Cook your love his or her favorite dish in this cute little heart ramekin. € 13.95
FOUR. Don’t fuss if you haven’t found your other half yet. Grab your bestie and make a cute cookie garland with this kit while enjoying some bubbles, followed by watching a chick flick. € 13
FIVE. Start your own love story with some cute sticky notes. € 4
Happy Sunday everyone! Stay tuned for some Valentine-inspired recipes I will be revealing next week :)Xo Vicki
