On our way to LA, we made a quick stop in Santa Barbara. We only stayed a few hours but fell in love with this little town. We explored Downtown Santa Barbara, visited Old Mission Santa Barbara and wandered along the beach.
On State Street I particularly liked the quaint little shop Plum Goods, filled with exclusive handmade and recycled treasures. From home furnishings, jewelry to art, you will find unique souvenirs for friends or yourself to take a piece of Santa Barbara home with you. We discovered S’well bottles there. They are reusable bottles made of stainless steel, non-toxic and will keep your drink cold for 24 hours and hot for 12. We tested it out throughout our travels and it really works. Plus they are also very fashionable and you support a great cause.
I also loved these recycled license plates, unfortunately I didn’t get one.
We were a little sad when it was time to leave Santa Barbara, but also very excited for LA.
On our way to Los Angeles, we had a break at Camarilla Premium Outlets, which was the best idea ever (hello Levi’s cutoffs for $7!!!) and had our very first In-N-Out experience (one of many on this trip). I loved In-N-Out but have a confession to make: I didn’t like their signature sauce. The second time I ordered it without it, simply added some ketchup and liked it much better.
