London Makeup Haul + Giveaway - Bowsessed™

London Makeup Haul + Giveaway

This is my last post from my trip to London. I went shopping to Boots and Superdrug and got makeup that isn’t available in Austria (this is about as deep as it will get in this post!).

london makeup haul All the pretty things that went home with me!

tanya burr lipgloss Rimmel Kate Matte lipstick in the shade 101. It is a beautiful pale pink with a velvet finish to it. This is my first matte lipstick and I’m surprised that it isn’t drying at all. I’m not a fan of the scent, but I have a problem with the smell of Rimmel lip products in general.

I like to pair this lipstick with the Tanya Burr lip gloss in ‘Afternoon Tea‘. I would describe it as a pink nude with a creamy finish. It is very pigmented and doesn’t feel sticky at all. The only thing I don’t like (again) is the scent, it reminds me of bubble gum.

soap and glory mascara Soap & Glory™ Thick & Fast™ Super Volume Mascara is my favorite mascara! I still have my first one that I got back in December, this is how good it is! I wanted to try the gold one mainly because of its packaging! If you would like a more in-depth review on this mascara, read my post about the Yule Monty gift set.

barry m nailpolish Ever since buying the Ciaté advent calendar before Christmas I have banned myself from buying any more nail polish and I succeeded on keeping up my promise until I went to Superdrug and saw the new shades from Barry M. From the ‘Gelly line’ ‘Rose Hip‘ and ‘Dragon Fruit‘ had to go home with me (see a picture of me wearing Dragon Fruit here) and from the summer limited edition ‘Promenade‘, which was a freebie (so this one doesn’t count, right?).

sleek rose gold And last but not least I picked up a Sleek blush in ‘Rose Gold‘. A gorgeous coral pink with iridescent gold particles. To me this is the perfect blush to use in summer, very flattering and leaves a beautiful gold shimmer on the cheeks when the sun hits the skin. The texture of Rose Gold is very pigmented, so little goes a long way or you will end up looking like a disco ball. It is, however, very blendable and has great lasting power. The packaging is simple, compact and offers everything you need. I like the somewhat large mirror and that they opted to leave out that awful, unnecessary blush brush, instead giving you more product.

To thank you, my lovely readers, for your ongoing support I will be giving away 3 brand new Sleek blushes in ‘Rose gold’.  All you need to do is leave a comment down below letting me know what your favorite foreign beauty product is (a product that you are unable to get in the country you live in). And you will get bonus points if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter! :) I will pick three winners at random on August 15th. All details are below.

I really love Bath & Bodyworks. I have a little collection with their hand sanitizers at home. Moreover I think Neutrogena has a good Make up Line, which you cannot get in Austria. I follow on Twitter and Instagram :)

Hey Vicki, my favorite Beautyproduct which is not available in Germany is: the Revlon Colorstay Foundation. If you can get it anywhere you should give it a try.
I would love to win one if the sleek blushes because I always wanted to try them but never actually bought it. And the fact that it is Rose gold is amazing.

My favourite foreign beauty product would be Korean lip tints. I bought some when I was in Korea and I really love them. Sadly you can’t get them or anything similar in Germany (well, you can order them online but that’s always a hassle…)

The blush looks gorgeous! I always buy lip balms from Carmex when I’m in the United States, they are my favorite!
