I’m really late to show you this box! I believe it was October’s Glossybox, but I received it in November and wanted to try some of the products before reviewing them. This was also my first Glossybox and I was really excited to try everything out.
First of all, I love the packaging! The baby pink box is so pretty and I will definitely be keeping it to store beauty products. But what is even better are the goodies inside ;)
So Susan – Concealer Quad. I had high hopes for this concealer/highlighter quad but unfortunately the under-eye concealer made me look shiny and didn’t cover anything. I will be using the highlighter, though!
Model Co – More Brows. This is my first eyebrow gel as I have been only using eyebrow pencils and I really like it. One stroke on each brow is sufficient and it dries quickly. It helps to shape and thicken your brows while still looking natural.
Dr. Scheller organic pomegranate peeling & organic argan oil conditioning mask. I have been using the peeling mask and loving it. It is gentle enough to use on a daily basis and does not dry out the skin. One sachet is supposed to be used for a single application, but I have been using it for about a week.
The Body Shop – Vanilla Brûlée Mini Body Butter. At first I wasn’t that impressed with the scent, but it has grown on me. It has a cookie element to it and almost smells a bit boozy at first if that makes sense? As you let the body butter absorb you are enveloped in a sugary vanilla scent.
Calvin Klein – Reveal Body Lotion. It is a very autumnal scent. The lotion smells very sensual, musky and powdery. Maybe a bit too salty for my taste.
Gynial Skincare – ialuxid Gel. This gel works great with skin irritations as it forms a protective film over the affected area. I have been using it to prevent razor bumps.
The only critique I have is that this box featured two body crèmes. Apart from that I think that this box featured some great products.
