Located in the heart of Vienna lies a cosy boutique hotel, dedicated to organic food and sustainability. Before Christmas, a few bloggers and members of the press were invited to test the impressive brunch menu. Continue Reading…
The next day we left our hotel in Berkeley to officially begin our road trip along the coast. I was able to snatch another delicious chocolate chip cookie from the hotel for the road ;) We made a stop at Trader Joe’s, the first for both of us, to fuel up on semi-healthy snacks (hello cashew caramel cookies!). If you wash down cookies with green juice it is healthy, right?
A few weeks ago, I was in London with my mom for my graduation.
The ceremony was nice, a bit boring at times. I was really excited to be wearing a gown and hat for the first time (it is not common in Austria).
In the historic district of Salzburg there is a little place that is dedicated to making delicious organic burgers. The ‘Bio Burger Meister‘ or the masters of making organic burgers, is a certified organic restaurant. The menu offers an impressive array of freshly prepared burgers. Well-known burgers, such as a classic Cheeseburger can be found as well as more exotic burger options such as the ‘BioKahuna Burger’. The ‘BioBurger Meister’ also offer a vast range of vegetarian options, and even two vegan burgers.
Even though this happened a few weeks ago, I just had to share with you this delicious burger experience.
While I was in New York, I was introduced to this amazing Japanese fast food restaurant, called Kobeyaki in Chelsea. I loved it so much that I went there for a second time within a week. Yes, it was that good! I got the Kobe beef burger twice! Say what? Yeah exactly: kobe beef in a burger bun, topped with teriyaki ketchup (and some greens). It doesn’t get better than that! I also tried the teriyaki grilled shrimp bowl, which was delicious as well. But this burger… Oh my! Definitely going in my personal ‘Burger Hall of Fame’.
The Shard is a skyscraper with an observation deck in London. With its 310 meters, it is currently the tallest building in the European Union. It is called the Shard because it looks like a shard of glass.
